Abstract

With advancement in technology in recent years, the concept of mobile wallets (m-wallets), is considered to be a very vital part in the mobile payment system. This has gained lots of special focus and more attention in the financial markets. M-wallets is a concept which is specifically designed to offer customers swiftness, provide them with ease of use and technology, create efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and accessibility in order make the system more user friendly in nature. Despite these benefits, customer usage intentions and adoption of m-wallets has been witnessed in most emerging markets very low, and they have not received widespread acceptance, which could be of various reasons like lack of awareness, lesser accessibility, low adaptability to technology, sense of fear and man more. Notably, the existing research is conducted to identify and understand the intentions to use (IUs) mobile payments among Indian customers.
