This study explored the teachers’ self-esteem and career satisfaction towards performance was conducted in the different secondary schools of Kidapawan City Division and the second congregational district of Cotabato Division for School Year 2020-2021. This study used a mixed-method technique, which incorporated quantitative and qualitative methodologies into a single study. A descriptive-correlation technique was utilized in analyzing the quantitative data, while qualitative data were integrated based on the analyzed quantitative results. Meanwhile, the notes from the in-depth interview were evaluated using thematic analysis. The interview was conducted by teachers who were selected based on criterion-based sampling. The research questionnaires were self-structured questionnaires based on the reviewed literature by various researchers. The outcome of the study revealed that the level of self-esteem, level of career satisfaction was all satisfied while and level of performance of teachers rated as very satisfactory. Teachers’ self-esteem and career satisfaction were significantly related to the level of their teaching performance. Teachers’ self-esteem positively influenced the level of teachers’ performance in terms of content knowledge, assessment and reporting, and curriculum and planning. Further, among the four variables of career satisfaction, benefits and rewards greatly influence the performance of the teachers in terms of community linkages and professional engagement, while the other factors are found to be not significantly influenced. Based on the following results and conclusions, school administrators should implement programs and activities that focus on motivating policies to encourage them to enhance job performance and prepare for a new and better way of doing things in order to improve the quality of work and education. Teachers should be provided with adequate and relevant training in professional and personal development/growth for self-esteem. Future researchers can explore other horizons for enhancing teachers teaching performance for learners.
