Learning in the Philippines had changed drastically from traditional face-to-face to remote learning due to the widespread of Covid-19 virus and the increasing of positive cases. With this current situation, struggles in adapting to these changes are seen in pupils, parents, and teachers as well. Herewith, this paper focuses on the challenges that pupils experience while adapting to the new normal learning modalities and how these challenges affect the pupils’ level of adaptability. Following a mainly descriptive-correlation design, this study dispensed a 45-itemed questionnaire to 249 Grade 6, Section A pupils to ten (10) schools in the Kidapawan City Division, District 3. These respondents are determined through stratified random sampling by proportionate allocation. This study pre-determined four challenges that pupils commonly experience in remote learning, these are; Computer Literacy, Time Management, Learning Delivery, and Parental Support. Also, this paper used the three employed remote learning modalities namely; Modular Distance Learning, Radio-Based Instruction, and Online Learning. With these variables, results have revealed that the pupils had already precluded these challenges which then upshot to a higher level of adaptability to the new normal education. This also shows that the higher the pupils’ management to these challenges the higher their level of adaptability. Conjointly, these results conferred that these challenges and the level of adaptability are positively related to each other and thus are significantly interrelated.
