Generally, this study aimed to determine influence of professional development and skills to the leadership efficacy among school heads of Special Geographic Area Division of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao using the mixed method encompassing the basic process of quantitative and qualitative research. The respondents were the school heads taken with complete enumeration. School heads in the identified served as participants taken using purposive sampling. The research questionnaires were taken and adapted from the study of Abun, Tabur and Aggot, 2008 with some modifications to suit the purpose. Result revealed that professionally, school heads were developed in terms of taking advance education and training and seminars, and desirable in terms of attitude. Moreover, in terms of leadership skills they are skilled in terms of strategic planning skills, motivating skills, developing subordinate skills, communication skills, and team building skills. As to leadership efficacy, they well- managed their schools, enhanced in terms of career; agree in the development of their social aspect. The school heads professional development and leadership skills have high significant relationship with school heads’ leadership efficacy and a significant influence on school heads’ leadership efficacy. Therefore, the more the school heads are professionally developed and possessed leadership skills, the more that they will become efficient as school head.
